ADVANTAGES

  • Low Volatile Organic Compound (V.O.C.) content.

  • Equally effective on all types of forming materials and form liners including elastomeric,PVC, and EPS
  • Allows for fast and easy stripping of formwork
  • Highly stable during placement and vibration of concrete
  • Does not stain or contaminate the finished concrete surface
  • Suitable for high detail forms and architectural concrete finishes
  • Increased corrosion resistance to steel surfaces
  • Extends the life of forms and inhibits oxidation of metal forms
  • Reduces labor cost of stripping and cleaning forms and equipment
  • Compatible with both type of static and slip-forming

FIELD OF APPLICATION

DEZOIL 445 in general is formulated to be used for all case of wooden, plastic and metallic forms, etc.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

All surfaces to be coated with DEZOIL 445 must be clean and free from grease, dirt and old concrete.

COVERAGE

DEZOIL 445 should be applied at the following stated coverage rates to obtain a thin and even film over the entire surface of the form or formwork:

  • Timber Formwork ~ 1 L per 10 - 15 m2

  • Metal Formwork ~ 1 L per 20 - 25 m2

APPLICATION

Surface Preparation: Forms must be clean and free of any dust, dirt, laitance, hardened concrete or residue that might discolor new concrete.

Application: Apply DEZOIL 445 with a brush, roller, or pressurized sprayer. Wipe off excess and drips with a clean, soft rag. Wait a minimum of 60 minutes before pouring Concrete.

New Wood Forms: Apply initial coat of DEZOIL 445 at a rate of above recommended and do not wipe. Allow release agent to absorb into wood surface. For extremely porous forms a second saturation coat may be necessary prior to first use. Allow forms to dry, then recoat and wipe excess as stated above.

Cleanup

Clean tools and equipment used to apply DEZOIL 445 with detergent and warm water.

STORAGE & SHELFLIFE

Shelf life: 1 year in the original package

Storage condition: should be protected from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep Gallons in the temperature range between +10°C and +30°C.

Higher temperatures could disrupt the stability of primary emulsion and would be needed to be premixed when using.

Packing: 20 lit Container
