DEZOFIX 501 | Paste and glue for planting reinforcement and bolts in concrete

Dezofix 501 is the strongest type of adhesive based on epoxy resins, designed for the installation of reinforcement and bolts in walls and ceilings.

DEZOFIX 501

Complies with BS 6316 PART 2.3.7

Description:

Dezofix 501 is the strongest type of adhesive based on epoxy resins, designed for the installation of reinforcement and bolts in walls and ceilings.

Properties and effects:
• Very high adhesion to concrete and steel
• No shrinkage
• No need for solvents
• Applicable to wet concrete and sections
• Possibility of installing reinforcement in lightweight concrete
• Protection of reinforcement and anchor bolts against corrosion and rust
• Fast and easy implementation
• Excellent strength against acidic and alkaline materials
• Fast setting
Application:
• Installing rebar and anchor bolts, metal rods, steel, etc.
• Creating adhesion between metal sections with concrete or stone

Consumption rate:
First, we calculate the volume of the hole and subtract the volume of the rebar from it, and the consumption rate is calculated according to the specific gravity of the rebar installation paste, which is 1.7 grams per cubic centimeter.

Usage method:
The injection site surfaces and sections must be free of any grease, dust, rust, loose and unstable particles and moisture. First, pour the two components of the reinforcement paste into a container and mix thoroughly using an electric mixer (drill + blade). Pour the resulting mixture into the piston of the injection tool, place the plastic cap inside the piston and place the prepared cartridge into the piercing tool, cut the nozzle tip and inject the reinforcement paste into the hole. Note that the material should always fill half of the cavity space. Then, insert the reinforcement into the hole, ensuring that the cavity surfaces are in full contact with the rebar paste.

Note 1: Do not move the reinforcement into the hole until the initial setting of the product has been completed.

Note 2: After completing the Dezofix 501 application, all tools and equipment must be washed quickly with water. Dried materials can be removed with thinner or gasoline or steam pressure.

Storage:
Store this product in a covered place, temperature below 35 degrees Celsius and away from sunlight and rain. Avoid excessive pressure. The product has a shelf life of about 12 months if stored in proper conditions and in its original packaging.

Physical and chemical characteristics:
• Specific gravity: A+B: 1.7 g/cm3
• Compressive strength: 75 to 80 N/mm2
• Flexural strength: 40 N/mm2
• Tensile strength: 235 N/mm2
• Mixing ratio: A=2 and B=1
• Adhesion to steel: At the breaking point of concrete
