DEZOFLOOR 800 | POLYAMINE CURED CONCRETE EPOXY PRIMER

DEZOFLOOR 800 is a two components polyamide cured solvent base clear concrete epoxy primer. It is recommended as a sealer on concrete to improve adhesion of subsequent coat to the substrate. Like all primers, DEZOFLOOR 800 alone is not suitable for immersion in acid or alkaline solutions.

POLYAMINE CURED CONCRETE EPOXY PRIMER

DEZOFLOOR 800 is a two components polyamide cured solvent base clear concrete epoxy primer. It is recommended as a sealer on concrete to improve adhesion of subsequent coat to the substrate. Like all primers, DEZOFLOOR 800 alone is not suitable for immersion in acid or alkaline solutions.

ADVANTAGES

  • Excellent adhesion to concrete substrate

  • Water and chemical resistant

  • Low viscosity with high penetrating capacities

SURFACE PREPARATION

All Surfaces to be coated should be clean, dry and free from contamination. Prior to primer application all surfaces should be assessed and treated in accordance with SSPC-SP13 / NACE 6.

Concrete should be cured for a minimum of 28 days prior to coating. The moisture content of the concrete should be below 4%. All cracks should be filled with MORTAR EPOXY.

Surface preparation shall not take place in following conditions:

  • At temperature below 5 ºC

  • When the relative humidity is greater than 80%

  • When the surface temperature is less than 3 ºC above the dew point

  • Outside day light hours on exterior locations

Application Method

Material is supplied in two containers as a unit. Always mix a complete unit in the proportion supplied. Once the unit has been mixed it must be used within the working Pot life specified.

1-Agitate part A with a power agitator.

2-Combine the entire contents of part B with Part A and mix thoroughly with power agitator. Start the application right after finishing the defined induction time.

In hot climate, material temperature should be 20 to 25 ºC prior to mixing; otherwise pot life becomes very short.

  • Do not thin for any reason.

  • Do not apply the paint when wind speed is in excess of 7 m/s. Do not apply the paint when surface temperature is below 10ºC.
