DEZOSIVE 1065
Polymer-modified repair mortar for structural repairs for thicknesses of 2 to 5 cm
Description:
Dezosive 1065 is a ready-to-use cement-based repair mortar that, after adding the necessary water, creates a fibrous and high-strength repair paste.
Dezosive 1065 is a non-shrinking mortar with low permeability and long durability.
This mortar does not contain metal granules and is free of chlorine ions.
Dezosive 1065 is designed for use by spraying or troweling systems in accordance with EN 1504 and Guide No. 320.1R–2019 of the International Concrete Repair Association and can create a thickness of 20 to 50 mm in one application step. Greater thicknesses can be applied by spraying.
Uses:
• All structural repairs that can be sprayed or troweled.
• Repair of all building components that are subject to repeated loading.
• Repair of prestressed or reinforced beams and columns.
• In order to protect concrete structures exposed to aggressive agents such as chlorides and sulfates.
• Structural repairs in industrial areas, especially those exposed to mineral oils and hydraulic oils.
• Repair of marine structures.
Properties:
- The non-shrinkage of the mortar ensures good adhesion to the concrete substrate and the transfer of forces in structural repairs.
- There is no need for substrate preparation (primer), which speeds up the implementation process.
- The sprayability of the mortar makes it possible to apply large quantities.
- There is little material waste when spraying, which will save on the cost of supplying materials.
- Its very low permeability minimizes the possibility of environmental corrosive attacks.

Application method
Substrate preparation:
The surface to be treated should be clean and free from any contaminants and any weak spots in the concrete should be identified and destroyed.
These areas should be cut to a depth of 10 cm and care should be taken to ensure that they are as sharp and square as possible. A minimum thickness of 10 mm should also be maintained around the repaired area.
The surface to be treated should be free from defects and have at least 5 mm irregularities at 20 mm intervals.
If contaminated and loose surfaces are encountered, it is best to coordinate the implementation with the workshop supervisor to proceed with possible cleaning and cutting.
If rusty reinforcements are observed, first ensure their internal health, then proceed with rust removal by one of the brushing or sandblasting methods until the steel surface appears clean.
Reinforcements can be further protected by special coatings. In cases where reinforcements are extensively corroded, they must be replaced.
Water saturation:
Completely saturate the desired surface by washing with water, then collect excess amounts from the surface.
Mixing:
The best method for making Dezosive 1065 mortar is to use a low-speed mixer (drill). Pour 3.5 liters of water into the mixer and, while the mixer is rotating, add Dezosive 1065 dry powder to the water continuously. After the powder is completely added to the water, continue stirring for 3 minutes to create a uniform mixture without large bubbles. If the above mixture does not have the desired consistency, water can be added gradually and stirring continued for another 1 to 2 minutes. Obviously, the amount of water required is affected by the relative humidity and ambient temperature.
Application:
The prepared mixture can be applied manually or by spraying, and in case of manual application, the trowel should be pressed onto the mortar surface to ensure complete contact between the mortar and the previous surface. For this purpose, use a plastic or wooden trowel, but do the final finishing with a metal trowel.
The best time for the final finishing is when fingerprints hardly remain on the surface of the repair mortar.
Good curing is especially necessary in hot or windy conditions, and for this purpose, Dezocure D-550 or nylon coating can be used.
Coating:
The volume of the mixture obtained from a 25 kg bag of Dezosive 1065 and 4 liters of water will be 12.6 liters, which can be used to cover one square meter with an average thickness of 12.6 mm.
Storage:
It can be stored away from rain and direct sunlight and without excessive pressure for up to one year.
Safety tips:
Like other cement mortars, abundant water should be used for washing in case of contact with skin or eyes.
Quality approval:
All products supplied by Iran Concrete Technical and Specialized Clinic Company comply with international quality standards.
