EMULSIFIED BITUMEN PROTECTIVE COATING | DEZOPROOF P-900

DEZOPROOF P-900 is a water based bitumen emulsion of mineral petroleum sprits. Conformed to be tested by related standards of ASTM and EN based standards, E.M.COAT-90-B is essentially designed to positively protect buried concrete structure from any water vapor or harsh chemical ingress through it. Applied and well cured DEZOPROOF P-900 will left a high resistance tensile and elongation film over the substrate of being used.

DESCRIPTION

DEZOPROOF P-900 is a water based bitumen emulsion of mineral petroleum sprits. Conformed to be tested by related standards of ASTM and EN based standards, E.M.COAT-90-B is essentially designed to positively protect buried concrete structure from any water vapor or harsh chemical ingress through it. Applied and well cured DEZOPROOF P-900 will left a high resistance tensile and elongation film over the substrate of being used.

FIELD OF APPLICATION

  • General waterproofing and damp proofing for concrete and masonry

  • Protection to a variety of buried structures such as concrete foundations and retaining walls
  • Provides a vapor barrier for cold storage rooms, etc.

ADVANTAGES

  • Resists chemical attack by chloride and sulfate ions present in the ground water.

  • Versatile.
  • Economical
  • Easy to apply
  • Cold applied

  • Contains no solvent, no health hazard

SURFACE PREPARATION

The substrate should be clean and sound, free of dust, loose particles, grease, oil, primers from previous membrane systems. Spalled concrete should be repaired by cutting out to sound concrete and patching with DEZOSIVE 1020 .Cracks, holes and honeycombs must be repaired prior to application.

APPLICATION

The application using brush or roller requires laying the material onto the surface, avoiding brushing out, to achieve the required film thickness per coat. It is recommended that two coats should be applied at a rate of 1-2.7 m2 per litre of product depending on the degree of protection required. In hot climate, it should be applied when temperature is below 40°C.
