DEZOBUILD D-50 is a high-performance super plasticizer based on ether polycarboxylate technology, designed to provide high fluidity and increase strength.

DEZOBUILD D-50 is a high-performance super plasticizer based on ether polycarboxylate technology, designed to provide high fluidity and increase strength.

 Description:

- DEZOBUILD D-50 is a third-generation super plasticizer based on polycarboxylate ether technology. It is designed for producing concrete with the maximum reduction in water-cement ratio and achieving high strength in the early ages while maintaining workability in a short time.

- DEZOBUILD D-50 can reduce the water-cement ratio in concrete by up to 25% while maintaining workability, leading to increased compressive strength in both early and final ages, as well as enhancing the durability of the concrete.

 

Mechanism of Action:

- DEZOBUILD D-50 operates through two mechanisms:

  1. It forms a film on the surface of cement particles, preventing particle aggregation by inhibiting the space occupied by the absorbed layer.

  2. It creates repulsive forces between cement particles by absorbing polymer particles and generating like charges.

 

Application and Use:

DEZOBUILD D-50 is suitable for various types of concrete, including self-compacting concrete, high-density concrete, pumpable concrete, precast concrete, pozzolanic concrete, prestressed concrete, underwater concrete, exposed and decorative concrete, flooring concrete, and industrial concrete.

 

Advantages of DEZOBUILD D-50 include:

Production of cohesive concrete without segregation at low water-cement ratios.

Production of high-slump concrete with low water-cement ratios.

Increase in initial and final strength.

Reduction in construction cost and time due to accelerated setting time.

Reduction in permeability to water, chlorides, and sulfates due to reduced water-cement ratio.

Increase in abrasion resistance and durability in cyclic freeze-thaw conditions due to low water-cement ratio.

Physical and chemical properties of DEZOBUILD D-50 include:

Components: Copolymerized polycarboxylate acids.

Color: Dark brown.

Ionic nature: Anionic.

Physical state: Liquid.

Chloride content: Maximum 500 ppm.

Specific gravity: 1.04 +/- 0.02 kg/L at 20 degrees Celsius.

Usage amount:

DEZOBUILD D-50 can be used at a rate of 0.5 to 1.5% of the weight of cementitious materials.

The dosage should be determined based on the mixing design and specific requirements.

It is recommended to conduct tests on-site to determine the dosage of DEZOBUILD D-50 and its impact on the properties of fresh and hardened concrete, such as workability, workability retention, setting, and early and final strengths. These tests should be carried out with the materials and conditions present at the worksite.

Direction of use:

• Ready to use and can be mixed with water at any ratio.

• It can be added to the mixer simultaneously with water.

• Should not be added directly to cement and dry components.

• DEZOBUILD D-50 can be added to the batching mixer or inside the truck mixer at the end of the mixing process. In this case, one minute of high-speed mixing per cubic meter is recommended.

 

Compatibility with Cementitious Materials:

Suitable for use with various types of cement and alternative cementitious materials, including fly ash, micro silica, and slag.

Compatibility with other additives:

• Do not pre-mix or use with other additives unless the manufacturer is allowed to know.

Packaging:

DEZOBUILD D-50 is available in 20-liter cans, 220-liter drums, and 1100-kilogram containers.

Storage:

It is recommended to store materials in a temperature range of 5 to 40 degrees Celsius, away from direct sunlight. If freezing occurs, raise the temperature to melt the materials, and then mix them using a mixer.

Shelf Life:

When stored and maintained under suitable conditions and in the original packaging, DEZOBUILD D-50 can be stored for up to 12 months.

Safety:

DEZOBUILD D-50 is a low-harm product and does not cause harm to the skin under normal conditions. However, as a chemical compound, it is recommended to use protective gloves and goggles to prevent skin and eye contact, and to rinse the skin or eyes with water if direct contact occurs.
