DEZOMIX 4500 | Additive of micro silica gel

Dezomix 4500 is used not only in the construction of high-strength concrete, waterproof concrete, low permeability concrete, and special mortars but also in concrete where reducing plastic cracks, relatively enhancing tensile and flexural strengths of concrete are desired. Additionally, in conditions where concrete is exposed to impact and dynamic alternating loads, the use of Dezomix 4500 is recommended.

DEZOMIX 4500

Additive of micro silica gel

Description:

Dezomix 4500 is used not only in the construction of high-strength concrete, waterproof concrete, low permeability concrete, and special mortars but also in concrete where reducing plastic cracks, relatively enhancing tensile and flexural strengths of concrete are desired. Additionally, in conditions where concrete is exposed to impact and dynamic alternating loads, the use of Dezomix 4500 is recommended.

applications:

Structures exposed to sulfates, chlorides, and salts

Water retaining structures

Concrete pavements

High-strength concrete

Structures exposed to dynamic, impact, and fatigue loads

Narrow concrete sections

Structures exposed to severe cycles of heating and cooling

Military and defensive structures

Advantages:

- Easy and efficient use, resolving issues caused by direct use of micro silica powder

- Reduced transportation costs compared to micro silica

- Increased compressive strength

- Reduced water-to-cement ratio

- Reduced permeability

- Increased durability due to increased electrical resistance and wear resistance

- Increased durability due to reduced permeability

Usage amount:

The exact amount of Dezomix 4500 should be determined through laboratory tests. As a guideline, it is recommended to add 5% to 10% of the weight of the cement used in the concrete. This amount can be added during the concrete mixing process or after it has been mixed. If Dezomix 4500 is added to the mixer, it is important to ensure proper mixing for 3 to 5 minutes.

Adverse effects of improper use:

- Insufficient use of less than 5% of Dezomix 4500 may result in poor quality and performance, rapid slump, decreased free lime power, and reduced overall properties of the concrete.

- Excessive use of more than 10% of the weight of the cement used in the concrete is not recommended and should only be done with proper testing.
