Description:
DEZOFLEX PG is a sealing tape in different dimensions that is designed, formulated and manufactured in a way that, in addition to elastomeric properties, it has the ability to transfer load in expansion and contraction joints in industrial flooring.
Among the cases of damage in industrial concrete floors is the destruction of concrete at the edges of the seam due to low shear and flexural strength, and unreinforced concrete in these areas, under the traffic of machines and forklifts. In addition to limiting the movement of machines and forklifts, this damage causes widespread destruction and the accumulation of liquids during washing and poor visual condition. By installing these ready-made tapes with load-carrying and elastomeric properties, the mentioned problem is solved.

How to apply DEZOFLEX PG surface preparation:
DEZO FLEX PG sealant has good adhesion to clean and prepared surfaces. Therefore, all pollution, loose particles, dust, grease, oil, moisture, and previous sealants must be completely removed from the surface using sub-concrete.
Fresh concrete - control joints:
Freshly poured concrete must harden for at least 30 days before applying DEZOFLEX PG sealant. To prepare the seam, use a diamond blade (with a suitable width) to remove the contact of the loose material inside the seam and subject the surface of the seam to abrasion. Perform the abrasion operation to a depth of 25 mm. The seam should be widened and deepened slowly. In order not to create a problem in the mother concrete, the wall of the joints must be free of moisture, loose materials and dust.
Old concrete - control joints:
Old materials must be completely removed from the surface. Use a diamond or other suitable tool to grind the seam to a 90 degree angle and a depth of 25 mm. Sharp edges should be sanded vertically. The joint wall must be free of moisture, foreign materials and moisture. The surface must be completely cleaned by airblast or vacuum.
Installation of DEZOFLEX PG tape
First, we apply Dezobod P-1800 epoxy adhesive to the tape prepared with the dimensions of the seam on two surfaces in contact with the concrete body. Then we put the tape on the seam. The dimensions should be such that the sealant can be placed with a little pressure.
Seventy-two hours after installation, the place can be used.
If the installation place is done in repair concrete where the areas are damaged, after this step, the damaged areas that have been prepared in advance should be repaired and filled with epoxy mortar.
Safety items:
This product contains factors that may cause allergies when in contact with the skin and inhaling vapors. The user personnel must wear special clothes and masks and gloves against chemicals, and protective cream should be used on the skin of the face and hands and other uncovered surfaces.
Inventory:
It is possible to store the product for up to 12 months in closed containers, away from heat, direct sunlight, freezing and humidity. The optimal storage temperature is 10 to 25 degrees Celsius.
